Dinner and DVD

Happy Friday my friends!

Had a wonderful evening last night enjoying my new obsession - Californication - on DVD. A little vino and a nice meal doesn't hurt either!

Cut up a chicken breast and sauteed with sliced red pepper and chopped broccoli. For some added flavor and excitement I threw together a quick basil pesto with hazelnuts. Yum!

I hope you all have a terrific weekend! Any big plans? Not me, I'm doing a ton of laundry!!! :)

  1. Simple and looks delicious.

I wish I had your creativity when it comes to cooking. I'll just have to settle for stealing recipe ideas from your blog and Marc's. LOL.

People tell me I am a good cook. Little do they know who the real masterminds are.

  2. I second Dan's comment! So simple, yet tasty. I need to get some broccoli, but I'll end up having to eat all of it, the family can't stand it:)

Glad to see you back posting!

  3. Yah, missed you! Haven't seen Californication...netflix perhaps! I have a lot of work to do this weekend! But right now, I'm rockin' out to SambaDa.

    Have some fun!

  4. Hi everyone!

Dan! Thanks for such an awesome sweet comment! So nice of you! I'm certainly not in the same category with Marc though! But thanks! :)

Primal Mama! hi! Thanks also for the nice comments! I really like that baby broccoli or broccolini or whatever they call it - even tastier than regular broccoli!

Shelly baby! SambaDa! Yes! I'll have to get a copy of that from you sometime! :) Californication is super dirty but hilarious! Love you! xo
